Carer / Support Worker

£14 – £18 per hour (depending on shift and experience)

The Role

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and motivated person to join our team. You will work with Deaf clients in their homes and communities, helping them with everyday life and personal care.

What You Will Do

• Help clients with personal care such as washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support clients to set their own goals and make their own choices
• Help with day-to-day tasks such as appointments, medication, banking, and bills
• Help clients get out into their community and try new things
• Keep good records and report any concerns
• Work as part of a friendly, supportive team

What We Are Looking For

• A caring, patient, and respectful approach
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
• Personal care experience is desirable but not essential — full training is provided
• Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is preferred but not essential
