Amsaan Accessible Tours is a Deaf-led travel company. We create fun, accessible holidays for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Our Deaf team works hard to make travel easy and barrier-free. We offer group tours, custom holidays, and friendly support around the world.

About the Role:


We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented BSL Content Assistant to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is fluent in British Sign Language and passionate about making content accessible and engaging for the Deaf community. Part-time and full-time options are available, with flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BSL Video Production

  • Film BSL translations for social media, website, and tour content (with or without green screen)

  • Translate written marketing and tour information into clear, culturally appropriate BSL

  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in all BSL translations

2. Video Editing and Accessibility

  • Assist with editing BSL video content using tools such as CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Add captions and visual elements to ensure videos are accessible to a broad audience

  • Format and export videos for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

  • Follow brand guidelines for style, font, colours, and logo placement

3. Collaboration and Support

  • Support scriptwriting to ensure content is Deaf-friendly and clear for BSL users

  • Assist team members with filming and content creation when needed

  • Help manage and organise digital content to ensure timely production and delivery

Requirements:

  • Fluent in British Sign Language (Level 6 or native user preferred)

  • Experience filming and editing video content

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and captioning

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
