or Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, however these have to be fixed days each

week due to routes being calculated.

50 stops x £0.90 = £45.00 per day

Vehicle Requirements:

🚗 You must use your own car or van, and it is your responsibility to ensure:DPD Medway Local Lite Service

Valid MOT

Insurance Cover

Clean Driving License

Salary & Tax Information:

Payment: Salary is paid every Friday working. Week in hand.

📌 Self-Employment: You must register with HMRC and obtain a Tax UTR number for

self-employed status. 🚫 No Holiday or Sick Pay: We do not provide paid annual leave or

sick pay, so please ensure to take this into planning when needing time off.

If you’re using your car or van for self-employed purposes, you can claim mileage

expenses through HMRC at a rate of:

45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles in a tax year

25p per mile for any additional miles beyond 10,000

These rates are designed to cover fuel, wear and tear, and other running costs. This applies to

both petrol and diesel vehicles.

Claiming this is especially useful if you’re self-employed or using your vehicle for

contracted delivery work, like DPD or courier services.

If you’d like help writing a simple mileage log or a claim template, I’d be happy to help!

Notice:-

So, I am recruiting drivers to deliver with myself for DPD. Currently

we collect parcels at a Medway locker,

Training and uniform will be provided. You’re also welcome to come

along for an experience day prior so you can get a feel for the role.

This will be unpaid.

As it stands it is 90p per successful stop, so if you do 20 stops in an

hour then you would be looking at £18 for that hour. What we do

advise is if there is an area in Medway that you know well this

would be best as it cuts down on time as you may know short cuts

that google maps may miss.

Depending on how many parcels you want to deliver will depend on

your weekly salary, so if you only take 30 stops you will be paid less

than if you were to take 80-100 stops a day.DPD Medway Local Lite Service

Hours are flexible so DPD aim to get the parcels to Medway locker

for around 10am although sometimes delays if the tip at Dartford

isn’t finished. So, if you’re only looking to work 10-2 so school

hours you wouldn’t be able to deliver 100 parcels in that time to

again it would reflect in your pay.

📩 If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

I am happy to send you an application form if you would like to still

apply, please let me know you email to send this over.
