BSL lecturer

Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified British Sign Language Lecturer on a temporary basis for 1 year.

We are looking for an experienced British Sign Language lecturer to deliver our Introduction to BSL evening courses from September 2025, and ideally also be able to teach level 1 and 2 courses: https://photos.app.goo.gl/hrGyxeH86gLsdvrC7

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a BSL qualification at level 6 or equivalent. You will have recent experience of teaching BSL, developing teaching materials and assessing learners. You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Deaf community, culture and history.

The successful candidate will be based at Sighthill campus.
