Why won’t my Vimeo video embed on Deaf Careers site?
If your Vimeo video isn’t embedding properly, you might be using a URL with an access token. For example:
🚫 This won’t embed:
https://vimeo.com/123456789/abcdef1234
✅ This will embed:
The first link includes a private token (/abcdef1234), which is often used for unlisted or private videos. Unfortunately, WordPress and many other platforms don’t support this format for embedding. The oEmbed system only works with the standard URL format.
How to fix it:
Use the plain video URL without the token. Also, double-check your Vimeo privacy settings to make sure embedding is allowed.
