Electric Voice Theatre, a small CIO registered charity, is a music-theatre acappella ensemble who promote women composers and scientists from the UK, past and present, through performances and workshop projects.

We are looking for a new trustee to join our board

We are particularly keen to recruit a trustee who lives with a visual or aural impairment, or other disability, to support our work. We offer BSL interpretation, Touch Tours and Integrated Audio Description at our performances as a matter of course and teach children and adults to use signs with their singing. We would like your help to improve our offer to the disabled community and encourage more engagement at live events and online.

You do not need to have experience as a trustee, as we will support you to feel comfortable with this, but it would help if you have some experience of working in the arts or with event or online management.

Commitment

Board meetings are held 3 times a year at dates and times organised to suit as many trustees as possible and take place either at our base near Finsbury Park in London or at one of our partner venues – e.g. Conway Hall, and can be attended on zoom.
